My first dress. :)
Throwback Thursday: Not the one I ended up wearing but the first wedding dress I bought. It was a champagne color with beige accents. It ended up being too formal for the wedding we were having and I was dying to try on tea length at Fancy Bridal afterwards. I still have this one… I know I should probably sell it but for some reason I don’t want to let it go. #tbt #throwback
Our wedding was five months ago today! To our first Valentines Day as a married couple! 💕😍
I wish I could go back to that day and do it all again. It all went by so quickly!
I didn’t think this name change thing would take so long… of course it would have been sped up a little if we had remembered to mail our marriage application in on time. Then I would have had the two weekdays off after my honeymoon to at least get my new social security card. We just got our marriage certificate back in the mail last week.
I mean, technically it is changed legally because we have our marriage papers, everything just needs to be updated. I have to go to the social security office almost an hour away to apply for my new card, then wait for it to get to me before I can even go to the DMV and get my new drivers license. Then I have to wait a few more weeks until I get my new license in the mail so I will have two forms of ID to change the name on my bank account and credit cards. Plus work is still waiting for me to bring everything in.
But the crappy part is the SS office and DMV are only open weekdays during the hours that I work, I do have mondays off, but it feels like I can only do one thing a week. Plus I hate driving and even on a normal day I have a hard time leaving the house by myself, and my anxiety has been through the roof lately so I’m already freaking out about the hour drive I have to do alone tomorrow… and that’s if the office is even OPEN because of this whole government shut down thing.
I just want to get this overwith.
Nothing professional back yet obviously, but here’s just a few pictures we got back on Facebook! We had so much fun! It was a perfect day!!
This weekend was a blast! I’m so relieved it’s all over and done so me and my WIFE can go enjoy our honeymoon!
Just realized I never posted these on here!
Just saw my cousin getting her hair and make up done for the wedding, and I got really emotional and nostalgic. I know it was only two weeks ago, but my wedding day went by so fast. I wish I could go back and do it again (minus all the planning).
Camille’s garter is done! Just in time for the wedding! I’m really really happy with it! Thank you so much Thoughtsofanursingstudent for the pattern!!!!
My garter that my talented fiancé knitted for me!! I requested the dice because we are huge board game geeks. :)
